Since putting the farm into the Countryside Stewardship scheme, there has been a steady increase in the number of species of plants and animals seen and living here.

In order to monitor the effectiveness of our grazing routines and other land and livestock management, it is important to keep records of what we see in relation to how we manage the land.

This page comprises working lists of species of plants and animals resident or visiting the farm and will be added to as new species are identified. Scientific and vernacular names are given where known. Contributions by visitors to the farm are warmly welcomed, as is any interest in carrying out surveys or transects.

Please contact us with any suggestions or enquiries.
